Naf Naf names interim CEO

CHICAGO (April 13, 2020) – Naf Naf Grill, the rapidly growing fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant concept, today announced that Paul Damico, Chief Executive Officer, stepped down from the role on April 6, 2020 to pursue a new opportunity. Gary Beisler, a 41-year restaurant veteran, former CEO of Qdoba and current Naf Naf Chairman of the board, will assume the position of interim CEO.

As Chairman of the Board for Naf Naf for the past 4 years, Beisler has been intimately involved in the brand’s growth strategy and day-to-day business operations, and brings a wealth of experience to the organization. Beisler successfully grew the Qdoba brand to 650 units and has deep knowledge of how to execute an emerging brand across corporate and franchise locations.

“The Board of Directors and investors thank Paul for his leadership and building the brand’s platform for successful franchising growth. He built a best-in-class senior management team that will continue to drive the positive momentum and performance of this brand,” said Gary Beisler.

“I am proud of the work the Naf team has accomplished during my time with the company and excited about the brand’s future. There is something very special about this brand and I look forward to seeing more people enjoying Naf as it expands operations across the country,” said Paul Damico.

In light of the situation with COVID-19, all Naf Naf restaurants are temporarily closed to ensure the safety and well-being of their guests, employees and business partners. Please visit www.nafnafgrill.com for current updates on the business.
